AD:ARCH was retained to renovate an abandoned structure in South St. Louis city. The structure consisted of two buildings: a 1 story masonry building with storefront and a 3 story building with retail on ground level and apartment on second level. Both buildings were in dire condition, the one-story building had no roof and the masonry was severely damaged. The three story building had significant masonry and roof damage. Both buildings were in poor interior condition. AD:ARCH was commissioned to restore both buildings back to its original character that would blend into the surrounding historic community. The one story building was renovated into Ernesto's, a wine bar, and the three story was renovated to have two levels of apartments and ground level storefront retail.
