The 14,000 square foot Headquarters Expansion and Lab Renovation project for Novus International included a new entry and conference center for their existing headquarters office. It also included the renovation of existing laboratories, converting existing space into food processing labs and a pilot plant. The expansion link utilized a simple material palette of Cumaru wood rainscreen system, curtainwall and steel.
As is true with the majority of Novus and AD:Arch projects, this project was developed with environmentally sensitive design and practices. The use of rapidly renewable resources, recycled material, natural lighting, occupancy sensing lighting controls, energy conservative HVAC, and low flow water fixtures are a few environmentally conscious design features incorporated in this project.
